This policy covers only the data collected when you visit the eyp.org.tr website. A separate document applies to the data we collect during event registration or applications (see Section 2 below).

2. What data do we collect when you visit the site?
eyp.org.tr has no registration form or newsletter subscription. Data collected on the site is limited to the following:
- Server logs: IP address, browser and operating system information, access time, and referring page. Automatically logged by our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) to keep the site running.
- Cookies: described in detail in Section 3 below.
- Email correspondence: the site has no contact form; when you write to one of the department email addresses listed on the "Contact" page (info@, sessions@, hr@, fundraising@, pr@), your message and contact details are processed only by that department, solely to respond to your request.
Note: the registration form used when applying as a delegate, official, or volunteer for an event is not part of this website — it is hosted separately and governed by its own notice.

3. Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of data stored in your browser. The cookies used on our site fall into the following three categories:

On your first visit, a cookie preference screen appears. Cookies other than "Strictly Necessary" ones do not run unless you explicitly consent. You can change your preference at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of the page.
Legal basis: under the Turkish Data Protection Authority's (KVKK) Cookie Guidance, your prior explicit consent is obtained for all cookies other than strictly necessary ones (KVKK Art. 5/1).
4. Who do we share your data with?
- Vercel Inc. — the site's hosting and technical infrastructure provider.
- Google LLC — only if you have consented to "Performance / Analytics" cookies (Google Analytics 4), for anonymized usage statistics.
Other than these, data from your website visit is not shared with or sold to third parties.
6. What are your rights?
Under KVKK Art. 11, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to request correction or deletion, to object, and to claim compensation for damages. You can send requests to privacy@eyp.org.tr; we respond within 30 days at the latest.

7. What if this policy changes?
This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page — you can track the date of any change from the version note at the top of the page.
