The Story of EYP Türkiye

What started as a small initiative has grown into a major national organisation, legally represented as the Avrupa Gençlik Parlamentosu Derneği since 2011. Today, we host multiple Conferences and National Trainings every year, reaching thousands of students across the country.

Board of EYP Türkiye 26/27 Term
The Board of EYP Türkiye, as the national governing body of the European Youth Parliament in Türkiye, is responsible for the strategic leadership, governance, and sustainable operation of the organisation. It sets the long-term vision and annual priorities, oversees the planning and delivery of national and regional events, trainings, and selection processes, and ensures the quality and educational impact of all activities.
The Board manages administrative, legal, and financial affairs in line with Turkish legislation, leads fundraising and partnerships, supports and coordinates volunteers, and represents EYP Türkiye within the wider international EYP network. Through this work, the Board enables young people across Türkiye to access high-quality civic education, develop leadership and critical thinking skills, and engage actively in democratic and intercultural dialogue.
